Video call people on Messenger

If video calling is available in your area, but you're having trouble using it, try updating to the newest version of the Messenger app. Messenger video calling isn't available in all countries, and certain Internet access providers and mobile carriers may restrict access to this service.
You can video call just one person or a group of people.
Remember that placing calls through the Messenger app for iPhone, iPad or Android may use your existing data plan. Please contact your mobile operator if you have questions about data charges for calling.
Desktop app and Desktop (messenger.com):
  1. Open the conversation with the person or group you want to video call.

Note: In voice or video calls between two participants, your IP address will be disclosed to the other person once the call is answered to establish a peer-to-peer connection. A peer-to-peer connection uses your IP address to connect directly with the person you're calling to help improve the audio and video quality of your call. While this happens in the background, it may be possible for the other person to discover your IP address.
