Limits to sending messages on Messenger

Messenger has limits in place to reduce messages that people may not want to get, like spam. If you were warned about sending too many messages or sending them too quickly, you'll need to stop sending so many messages or you may be unable to send messages on Messenger.
You may be limited to 5 chats depending on a variety of factors including location and any violation history.
If you previously violated our policies, there will be limits on the content that you can forward from one chat to another within a specific period of time. To learn more about our policies, please review our Community Standards.
