How do I use a shortcut to audio call someone who’s currently in the same chat as me on Messenger?

You can use a shortcut from your chat to call a friend who is currently in the same chat as you.
If your friend or contact is currently in the chat with you, you’ll see a white border around their profile picture and a notification that says they’re here.
If you don’t want people to see that you're active in the same chat as them on Messenger, you can turn off Show When You're Active Together from your Active Status settings.
To use a shortcut:
- From Chats, tap a conversation to open it.
- When the other person is in the chat with you, tap on their profile picture.
How do I stop or end an audio call?
To stop calling, decline a call or end a call, you can tap . You can also end the call automatically by leaving the chat.
Note: If someone declines your call, you’ll get a notification saying they didn’t answer.
