To supervise and limit the amount of time your teen spends on Messenger, you and your teen must have already set up supervision.
If supervision is set up, you can visit Family Center to view how much time your teen has spent on Messenger in the last 7 days. If Messenger is used on multiple devices, you'll see the total time spent using Messenger. You can also limit how much time your teen spends on Messenger and schedule breaks from the app.
Note: Supervision features require the latest version of the Messenger app for iPhone and Android. The teen must update the Messenger app. The parent must either update the Messenger app, or visit www.Messenger.com using a desktop or mobile browser. If some features of supervision aren't working appropriately, update the Messenger app.
