How do I remove someone from a group conversation in Messenger?

You can only remove someone from a group conversation if you're admin of the group. Learn more about group conversation admins. To remove someone from a group:
Desktop App:
  1. Open the group conversation.
  2. Click the name of the group conversation at the top.
  3. Click next to the person you'd like to remove.
  4. Click Remove Member > Remove From Chat.
Desktop (messenger.com):
  1. Open the group conversation.
  2. Click to the top right to open the conversation information.
  3. Below People, hover over the person you'd like to remove and click .
  4. Click Remove From Group > Remove.
