Once you've created an event, you can't change the privacy settings. Example: You can’t change a private event to a public event.

Create an in person event

  1. From your Feed, click eventsEvents in the left menu. You may have to click See More first.
  2. In the left menu, click Create new event.
  3. Click Is it in person or virtual?, then click In person.
  4. Click Who can see it? and select who can see and join your event. You can't change this setting after you create the event.
  5. Add your event details by following the prompts to enter information about your event like location, description, cover photo and more.
  6. Click Create event.
