If you’d like to come back to Facebook after you’ve deactivated your account, you can reactivate your account at any time. You can reactivate your main Facebook account or an additional profile.

Reactivate your main Facebook profile

To reactivate your main Facebook account:
  1. Log into your Facebook account or use your Facebook account to log in somewhere else.
You'll need to have access to the email or mobile number you use to log into complete the reactivation.
If you have an Instagram account in the same Accounts Center as your deactivated Facebook account, you can also reactivate your Facebook account through your accounts center on Instagram.

Reactivate an additional Facebook profile

Note: We're currently updating our Facebook settings. Facebook settings may not look the same for everyone.
To reactivate an additional Facebook profile:
  1. Sign into your main Facebook account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  3. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. If Accounts Center is at the top left of your Settings menu, you can reactivate your account through Accounts Center. If Accounts Center is at the bottom left of your Settings menu or if you do not see Accounts Center in your settings menu, you can reactivate your account through your Facebook Settings.

Reactivate an additional Facebook profile through Accounts Center

To reactivate an additional Facebook profile through Accounts Center:
  1. Sign into your main Facebook account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  3. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. Click Accounts Center at the top left of your screen.
  5. Click Personal details, below Account Settings.
  6. Click Account ownership and control.
  7. Click Reactivation. Note: The reactivation option will only be shown if you have a profile or account that is deactivated or scheduled for deletion.
  8. Select the profile or account you wish to reactivate and follow the instructions on the screen.

Reactivate an additional Facebook profile through your Facebook Settings

To reactivate an additional Facebook profile through your Facebook Settings:
  1. Sign into your main Facebook account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
  3. Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  4. Click Privacy, then click Your Facebook Information.
  5. Reactivation ____
  6. Select the Page or Profile you wish to reactivate and follow the instructions on the screen.
Remember that you'll need to have access to the email or mobile number you use to log in. If you can't remember your password, you can request a new one. If you can't access the email associated with your account, learn how to reactivate your account.
