How do I review my child’s friend requests or remove a friend from my Parent Dashboard

As a parent, you can add or remove friends for your child even if they have permission to choose their friends.
If your child does not have permission to choose their friends, you will need to add their friends for them through the Parent Dashboard.

Approve or decline a friend request

  1. Log into your Facebook account.
  2. From Home, click Messenger Kids in the left menu. If you don't see it, click See more and scroll down to find it.
  3. Click [Name].
  4. Click Activity to review friend requests.
  5. Click Approve or Delete.

Remove a new friend

  1. Log into your Facebook account.
  2. From Home, click Messenger Kids in the left menu. If you don't see it, click See more and scroll down to find it.
  3. Click Friends.
  4. Click Options on the right side of the friend's name.
  5. Select Remove [person] as a friend.
