Unarchive a chat on Messenger

Unarchiving a chat will add it back to your inbox on Messenger.

Unarchive a chat

Desktop (messenger.com)
  1. From Chats, click Archive on the left.
  2. Hover over the chat you want to unarchive, then click Options.
  3. Click Unarchive chat.
You can also search for a person's name on Messenger and send a new message in that chat to unarchive it and add it back to your inbox.
