If you think a message you've received in an end-to-end encrypted conversation goes against our Community Standards, you can report it.
When you report an end-to-end encrypted conversation, recent messages from that conversation will be forwarded and sent securely to Meta for review.
These reported messages may also be used to help us improve our systems for reviewing other reported content that may go against our Community Standards.
Community Standards violations can include bullying or harassment, threats and sexual violence or exploitation. Keep in mind that not everything that may be upsetting violates our Community Standards. If someone is bothering you on Messenger, you can always block them on Messenger. You can also block their profile on Facebook.
Note: People in end-to-end encrypted conversations can set messages to disappear. You can report messages for a short time after they've disappeared.
