Deleting a Messenger Kids account

These are instructions for how to delete your child's Messenger Kids app. For help with the Messenger app for iOS or Android, visit the Messenger Help Center.

Delete your child's Messenger Kids account

  1. Log into your Facebook account on a computer.
  2. From Home, click Messenger Kids in the left menu. If you don't see it in your menu, click See More... and scroll down to find it.
  3. Click the account you'd like to delete in the menu on the left below Accounts you manage.
  4. Click Controls.
  5. Below Parental Controls, click Edit Info.
  6. Click Delete Account, then click Confirm.

When does Messenger Kids delete accounts?

We delete inactive accounts. In line with our Privacy Policy, we store account information until it is no longer necessary to provide our services.
