You can connect directly with businesses, places and services on Messenger.

Start a conversation with a business, place or service

  1. Open Messenger on your computer.
  2. Next to Chats, click Compose.
  3. Type the name of the business, place or service in the search bar.
  4. Click the business, place or service.
  5. Type your message.
  6. Click Send.
Note: Message threads between you and a business may be automatically created if you comment on their Page posts in a way that signals a need for business response (for example: “how much does this cost?” or “when will this product be available?”), but you will not be able to see the thread until the business messages you first.
